State of Discontent
State of Discontent is the fifth official and first album on Hellcat Records (subsidiary label of Epitaph Records) by the punk group The Unseen. It was released on May 9, 2005 internationally and a day later in the United States. It was produced by Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion fame and Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys. The album featured a slightly different sound, utilizing more of a post-hardcore edge than their earlier work, and included guest appearances by Lars Frederiksen of Rancid and Dicky Barrett of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The song "Paint It Black" is a cover of The Rolling Stones song.
